  • Little Lambs Foundation for Kids has secured property at 1482 N. 800 West in Logan and will build a 12,000 sqft diaper bank and community resource center to expand diaper distribution and offer health education to families + it has raised $997K of a $1.55M goal.  Cache Valley Daily

EDUCATION NEWS

  • A Utah State University Extension study finds that local employers value soft skills and experience more than academic degrees when hiring. The workforce needs assessment highlights a shift in hiring priorities, showing that real-world skills are in demand across the region (based on surveys of local employers).  The Herald Journal
  • Mountain America Credit Union opened applications for its 2026 Elevate Scholarship Program—a $300,000 initiative awarding 150 $2,000 scholarships—to support students across the region. Eligible applicants include high school seniors and those delaying enrollment, with deadlines set for Feb. 9.  KVNU
