  • Attorney and historian Brian Craig offers his new book (Utah Outlaw Patrick Coughlin: The Crime Spree of a Forgotten Desperado) that tells the story of the first outlaw executed by firing squad in our area. Part of the proceeds will support the Utah Law Enforcement Memorial.  KVNU
  • Local attorney Brian Craig has published his fourth book, Utah Outlaw Patrick Coughlin: The Crime Spree of a Forgotten Desperado, which uncovers the story of Utah’s first outlaw executed by firing squad. A portion of book sales will benefit the Utah Law Enforcement Memorial & honor local officers.  Cache Valley Daily

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Utah State University announced on Monday that USU Athletics Hall of Fame inductee + Super Bowl Champion Bobby Wagner will serve as the 2026 commencement speaker at the university's upcoming ceremony.  The Herald Journal
  • On Monday, the Utah State Board of Education released the School Report Card showing that Cache County high schools had strong points + areas needing work. The findings will guide plans for school improvements in the district.  The Herald Journal
