- ➤ Utah's Division of Outdoor Recreation launched the 2026 Adventure Challenge to encourage outdoor play for youth; its Winter kickoff was held Friday at the Utah Olympic Oval, and a Logan Canyon event on Saturday, Aug. 1 on the USU campus + Logan Canyon will offer hands-on outdoor activities for families. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Stories and objects from Utah State University’s Bringing War Home project will tour Utah during 2026 as part of the America250 exhibit (The Pen is Mightier: Writing a Revolution). The event will bring local history to various communities. The Herald Journal
- ➤ Skip Ewing will headline the Cache Valley Cowboy Rendezvous, a week-long festival celebrating western traditions, on Mar. 12 at the Cache County Event Center in Logan. The event will include concerts, contests, & classroom outreach from Mar. 9 through Mar. 14. Cache Valley Daily

- ➤ Green Canyon High School custodian Terry Godfrey (a Cache Valley native) received one of six Utah High School Activities Association Super Fan awards last Friday afternoon at Weber State University. The Herald Journal
- ➤ USU Rodeo Club held its first-ever Satin and Saddles Gala Saturday night to raise funds for scholarships in Logan, where head football coach Bronco Mendenhall delivered a keynote address. The Herald Journal
