- ➤ Starting March 6 until March 22, visitors can enjoy a beaver exhibit at the Hardware Wildlife Education Center in Blacksmith Fork Canyon (15 miles east of Hyrum on state Route 101) where family-friendly games, crafts, and an interactive beaver story run Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cache Valley Daily
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ More than 200 residents in Cache County and Box Elder are now excluded from the USDA Section 502 Direct Loan Program after cuts ended its self-help component for affordable housing. The change limits local homeownership support. The Herald Journal
- ➤ North Logan and Logan have launched a joint emergency preparedness training series focused on home, family and community safety. The program will offer residents practical tips to strengthen local safety. The Herald Journal

- ➤ Team USA spear fisher Lily Jarvis Fuller, a Utah State student, was interviewed by Eric Frandsen and Jason Walker today as she prepares for a New Zealand competition in early March.
