Good morning, Logan.

Carol and Jim Laub Plaza in downtown Logan was named Utah’s top public recreation facility for 2025 by the Utah Recreation and Parks Association on March 14—an award that marks the plaza’s role in the downtown revitalization effort.

The plaza opened in September 2023 and was built with nearly $6 million from city funds and private donors.

Emergency crews rescued the driver from a vehicle rollover on the southwest side of Logan Saturday night—he was extricated and taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

The Utah State Aggies men’s basketball team received an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year and will now prepare to face top college teams later this season—this achievement highlights their strong performance so far.
