- ➤ Municipalities in south Cache Valley are running their own study on a new recreation center while the county study is still underway; Nibley City funded a survey that asked 4,700 residents about supporting a tax increase. Officials plan to finalize amenities and bond language by August so that voters can decide in November — initial design estimates cost $25 million and may rise to $35 million if an indoor pool is added — according to city leaders.
