- ➤ Lawn care businesses in Logan said they are facing challenges after Logan City added a new green waste disposal fee — a change made when the city lowered its residential fee from $5 per can to $4 per can. - ➤ In Cache County, a new law signed by Gov. Spencer Cox on March 25 adds new conditions to mail-in balloting, requiring ballots to be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day this year. Starting in 2029, voters must opt in to receive mail ballots and include the last four digits of their driver's license, state ID, or Social Security number on their envelope—an effort to boost election security.
