- ➤ Officials from the Utah Insurance Department's Fraud Division said fake auto insurance policies are being sold on WhatsApp to members of the Hispanic community in Logan. The policies, offered by unknown sellers believed to be outside the United States and using a real local agent's identity without permission, may lead to lost money and vehicle registration problems — consumers are advised to verify their coverage with the insurance company directly — to avoid these scams.
