- ➤ Next week, English major Kyla Dahle from CHaSS will serve as the valedictorian at USU’s undergraduate commencement, a role given to the top student. - ➤ Logan officials announced that 100 North from its junction with Sumac Drive east to Thrushwood Drive will be closed starting Monday, April 28 to repair asphalt damage caused by a winter water leak. Motorists are advised to detour north on Sumac Drive and follow signs posted by city crews + road repairs are expected to finish Tuesday, April 29. KVNU
- ➤ Crews from Whitaker Construction will begin work in mid-May on 400 North from Main Street to 700 East to repair or replace the aging sewer main needed for local properties—lane closures and restricted access to businesses and parking will continue until the work ends in September. KVNU
- ➤ Sunrise Engineering announced that Whitaker Construction will begin work on 400 North from Main Street to 700 East in the second or third week of May after eastbound repairs on 200 North are scheduled to finish by May 9. The repairs will close eastbound turn lanes and may affect local businesses and parking until the work is completed in September—drivers and pedestrians are urged to slow down and follow safety signs. - ➤ City officials in Logan have announced that 100 North will be closed for road repairs starting Monday, April 28 and lasting through Tuesday, April 29—this work is needed after a water leak in winter caused asphalt damage.
