- ➤ At a May 13 budget workshop, Logan city council reviewed proposals from staff to raise elected pay for fiscal year 2025-2026 by about 5 percent, including increases for the mayor and council members. The proposed new pay sets the mayor’s salary at $124,693.40 with a $6,000 vehicle allowance and council members at $20,152.43 with a $300 vehicle allowance—officials said the increases aim to attract qualified candidates amid statewide comparisons.
