  • Logan-based fitness tech company iFIT Inc. has formed a new Science Council to upgrade its workout programs using biometric data for personalized training. The council includes experts (in sleep medicine, cognitive performance, women’s health and longevity) who will guide the company as it integrates science-backed insights into its platform.  KVNU

CRIME NEWS

  • Logan police arrested Edward George Flesher Jr. on May 25 for allegedly stealing a new 2024 KTM 690 motorcycle valued at $12,000 from the Young Powersports dealership where he worked+Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies later found the bike at his home and he now faces a second-degree felony charge pending arraignment.  KVNU

  • USU student ambassadors helped launch Spanish-language campus tours after students in a legal and business translation class created a Spanish tour script—Miles Crowshaw led a 75-minute mock tour in April so that teacher Sofia Monzon Rodriguez and her students could make last-minute revisions for future tours.  Cache Valley Daily
  • Logan City School District and Cache County School District are preparing a summer lunch program through the Seamless Summer Option food program + the districts will offer meals for eligible students during the summer.  The Herald Journal

  • Logan City Council members reviewed department budget proposals on Tuesday as city departments presented plans on spending and capital projects for the coming fiscal year — including proposals for compensation increases — during a workshop session.  The Herald Journal
