- ➤ Erin Elisabeth Bennett, a former candidate for the Logan Municipal Council who received only 7 percent of the votes in November, was sentenced on June 9 to one year in jail and 36 months probation—police found large amounts of drugs and cash during searches of her home and car, and she said the seizure might help change her life. - ➤ Logan police are asking for help finding 15-year-old Aladin Gamar—last seen near Logan High School after playing soccer Sunday night. KVNU
- ➤ Logan officials reported that a 47-year-old Lewiston man was sentenced on June 4 in the 1st District Court to consecutive jail terms totaling at least five years for raping a woman and molesting a young girl over several years—he had been held at Cache County Jail since his arrest on Feb. 9, 2024.
