Good morning, Logan.

Utah State University Extension sponsors a statewide virtual Marathon Kids summer program running from June 8 to August 8.

Youth and families can complete 26.2 mi (a marathon distance) with any heart-pumping activity to earn an entry in a prize drawing.

Utah State University Extension offers gardening tips for June to help residents monitor pests and treat trees and fruit at the right time.

They also provide an online course (code Sunshine for 33% off) to help gardeners learn new skills.

Logan residents can follow a four-step financial plan to manage income drops by inventorying resources, reducing expenses, boosting income, and revising their short-term strategy; the plan suggests using local food banks and other community resources (including HUD-approved counseling) to rebuild stability.

Phil Steele’s annual football preview magazine that examines Utah State and the Pac-12 is hitting shelves today and is discussed on The Full Court Press on 106.9 FM and 1390 AM.

The radio show also covers the Brendan Sorsby debate between Texas and Oklahoma AGs (a hot legal dispute).
