🏛️ Government
State attorneys general announced a settlement with three egg producers — who fixed prices — that will deliver over 53 million eggs to nonprofits and 125,000 free cartons to Utah consumers, plus nearly $100,000 for anti-trust enforcement.
The agreement reached in late June aims to ease pressure on families.
Cache County Council approved a plan on July 14 to form a regional Recreation Center Feasibility Study Committee that will guide experts in evaluating a countywide indoor facility.
The panel (including a member from Logan plus representatives from other regions in Cache Valley) will deliver its report by Mar. 1.

Cherry Peak Resort, a 174-acre ski resort in Richmond with 29 runs (3 triple chairlifts) and snowmaking equipment, was listed for sale for $22.5 million on Monday by Logan native John Chadwick; the resort will continue operating during his retirement transition.
