- ➤ A motorcyclist lost control on US-89 near the Dugway in Logan Canyon on Wednesday and was flown by helicopter to McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden with serious injuries — witnesses said high speed may have been a factor — while authorities temporarily closed the roadway for the helicopter landing. - ➤ A 36-year-old North Logan woman faced kidnapping charges for allegedly taking a young girl from her legal guardians on Saturday—she was booked Monday into Cache County Jail and was ordered to remain there with a subsequent court appearance scheduled on June 21. Cache Valley Daily

- ➤ Fire crews are battling the Buckboard Fire—a blaze that has burned over 500 acres near the Idaho-Utah border west of the I-15 corridor, about 10 miles southwest of Malad.
