  • The Cache Community Connection’s Summer Noon Concert and Lectures Series at the Historic Logan Tabernacle is growing in popularity with an average of 254 people per show and draws a mix of local talent and visitors from several states (55% are from Arizona). Coordinator Carol Foht, in her fourth year, said the concerts have seen more first-time attenders and will continue until July 31.  Cache Valley Daily

  • Hyrum businessman Michael Arambel built a 7,200 square foot vacation rental using seven shipping containers on a bluff near Bear Lake in Idaho that has six bedrooms, four and a half baths and sleeps 21 guests. It took two and a half years to complete—designed to endure heavy winter snow—and is now available for bookings with stays limited to three consecutive days.  KVNU

  • USU Extension worked with KUTV 2 News and reporter Brian Schnee to release a video that shows how residents in the Wildland/Urban Interface (WUI) can lower wildfire risks by keeping a safe area around their homes and coordinating with local fire departments.
