  • Mosquito samples collected near the Logan City Landfill tested positive for West Nile virus. Logan City Mosquito Abatement District said it will continue using larvicide and nighttime fogging—steps to protect residents from the virus.  KVNU
  • The American Red Cross of Utah is offering free A1C testing with every blood, platelet, and plasma donation made during August to help donors learn about their blood sugar levels+ results are available in one to two weeks through the Red Cross Blood Donor App or online portal, and donors giving blood from August 1-28 will receive a $15 e-gift card.  Cache Valley Daily
