- ➤ The Utah State University Equine Experience will perform a grand entry at the Porcupine Roundup rodeo in Paradise on Friday, August 22, from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m.—veterans riding horses will showcase their Valor Detachment while promoting veteran suicide awareness. - ➤ Utah is updating its 2026 State Water Plan and asking residents to share their ideas through a series of interactive Water Talks from August to October — one session will focus on the Bear River Basin with a meeting on Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. in Community Room A at Logan Library. KVNU
- ➤ Logan officials say that during wildfire season Rocky Mountain Power may shut off electricity in emergencies—residents should prepare emergency kits and backup plans for critical needs.
