- ➤ At its Tuesday meeting, the Logan School District Board of Education discussed board member compensation and the future use of the recreation center—debating whether to raise pay and plan for center operations going forward. - ➤ On Aug. 26, Cache County Council voted 6 to 1 to instruct Treasurer Craig McAllister to publish a Truth-In-Taxation notice for an 18 percent property tax increase proposal for 2026 to address a budget gap—county officials are planning spending cuts and revenue adjustments that may ease the tax impact on local homes.
