- ➤ Cache Car Wash raised $9,740 to help families of fallen officers Sgt. Lee Sorenson and Officer Eric Estrada by donating all car wash proceeds from its four Cache Valley locations on Aug. 23. - ➤ Logan saw a solemn farewell Friday as funeral services were held at USU’s Dee Glen Smith Spectrum for Sgt. Lee Sorensen— a 56-year-old Garland native killed in the line of duty on Aug. 17 while he was responding to a domestic violence call in Tremonton.
