- ➤ The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources said deer hunters in northern Utah will see fewer deer this fall as herds recover from a harsh winter– elk numbers will remain plentiful for the season. The Herald Journal

- ➤ At its meeting Tuesday, Logan City Council approved the planned overlay zone for the final phase of Willow Lakes development—postponing its decision on setback changes again. The council will revisit the setback issue in future meetings. The Herald Journal
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Utah State University Extension sponsors the 8th annual Celebrating Wellness Conference at the USU campus in Kaysville on Saturday, Oct. 18. The event begins with a pre-conference breathwork session (8:30 a.m.) and continues with a keynote address by Shanna Stevens (From Knowing to Doing: Turning Insight into Lasting Change) while registration costs $30.
