- ➤ Cache Valley communities are seeking sponsors for over 1,300 wreaths that will decorate veteran graves on National Wreaths Across America Day later this holiday season — the effort will honor military veterans and expand local participation. The Herald Journal
- ➤ Today, the Utah State University Homecoming Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. in Logan along Main Street from Center Street to 800 North — local anchors Stockton Jewkes, JD Walker and Nate Lundberg are live at Cache Valley Hearing and Audiology on 485 North Main. KVNU

- ➤ Ford is recalling over 290,000 2020-2022 F-250 SD, F-350 SD, and F-450 SD trucks because the rearview camera may not work in low light conditions, which increases the risk of a crash — dealers will update the software free of charge and interim letters will be sent on Oct. 20 — with a full remedy expected in March 2026. - ➤ The Cache County Open Space Advisory Committee asked landowners to send in proposals if they want to keep their land undeveloped and preserve Cache Valley's open spaces. Under a $20 million voter measure, the committee has protected hundreds of acres—landowners can meet with the team for an easy no-commitment consultation. Cache Valley Daily
- ➤ Cache County Open Space Advisory Committee is inviting landowners to submit proposals to preserve Cache Valley's scenic look so they can keep farming while their land remains undeveloped — committee member Eric Eliason said the process is easy and has already preserved hundreds of acres near Sherwood Hills and Smithfield.
