- ➤ The Ellen Eccles Theatre in downtown Logan will present Frankenstein: A Living Comic Book at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23. The family-friendly stage play reimagines Mary Shelley's classic tale with comic visuals and live actors, and it is recommended for children 8-and-up due to flashing lights and mild violence. KVNU

- ➤ Cache Valley residents gathered Saturday at Stokes Nature Center’s Nibley site to harvest produce from an indigenous food garden & view progress as the nature park nears completion. The Herald Journal
- ➤ Utah State University's report from the Janet Quinney Lawson Institute was released on Thursday and shows pressing natural resource issues in Utah such as air quality, wildfire impact, and water conservation efforts in the Great Salt Lake Basin. Lawmakers and community leaders attended the event—key findings include that animal overpasses are effective and over 100 dams need major upgrades—to guide future policy. KVNU

- ➤ Cache County Executive George Daines proposed cutting $250,000 a year from the Cache County Library in Providence for 2026—an action that would close the library—and staff and patrons sent over 1,450 letters before the council meeting.
