- ➤ USA Project Valor is helping two unhoused veterans in Logan by seeking donations to cover housing costs for one veteran living in a car and the other living in a truck. Michael Fortune said the government shutdown has reduced funds and they are using a hotel until a permanent solution is found—he urged the community to help. Cache Valley Daily
- ➤ A WalletHub report shows Utah ranks second in charitable giving and leads in volunteerism with more than 47% of residents donating time and averaging 46 volunteering hours each year—families also contributed about 3.5% of their income. The report noted that Utah scored top marks in volunteer rate, volunteer hours per capita and time favors, reflecting a strong local culture of service. Cache Valley Daily
- ➤ Utah State University, Alta Bank and Stokes Trucking donated approximately 30,000 pounds of food on Monday to the Cache Community Food Pantry as part of the annual 'Stuff the Truck' drive.
