  • Pizza Plus Logan and Pollo Azteca have opened new locations this week, while Vessel Kitchen — set to open in January — and a national breakfast chain will soon serve Logan.  The Herald Journal

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • A report from USU UWLP shows homelessness in Utah increased by 18% in 2025 with 4,584 individuals counted on a single night and 41.9% of those using services being women — the study highlights shelter shortages and rising costs as the legislature allocates $11.4 million for winter response.  Cache Valley Daily

HEALTH NEWS

  • The American Red Cross urges Utah residents to donate blood and platelets to help nearly 45 hospitals. Donations made from Dec. 8 to 18 get a $15 Amazon gift card and those from Dec. 19 to Jan. 4 earn a promotional shirt, with O negative and B negative types needed.  Cache Valley Daily
