- ➤ Residents in Cache Valley are preparing to serve on the 9/11 National Day of Service to honor those affected by the attacks, and United Way is partnering with Common Ground to lead a cleanup project on Sept. 11 from 9 a.m.—1 p.m. KVNU
- ➤ Logan’s oldest troop, Troop 1, celebrated 115 years by spending 81 days on backpacking trips that covered 1,152 miles in Logan Canyon and Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest—scouts earned merit badges and made key trip decisions while parents ensured safety and transport. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Utah State University and Weber State University in Logan are partnering with the American Red Cross for the 22nd annual Blood Battle to reach a goal of 400 units that can save up to 1200 lives. On the first day they collected 107 units, and anyone over 18 with a driver's license can donate blood. KVNU
