If you're an Aggie fan, Saturday brings home hoops. Utah State men's basketball hosts Omaha at 2 p.m. in the .

Coach Ben Jacobson's Aggies are 1-0 after a dominant second half Monday night, and they'll try to keep that momentum despite an early-season frontcourt shortage. Omaha is also 1-0, and the Aggies are playing their second game of the season.

South Cache Middle School math teacher Daren Lentz has been named the 2027 Utah Teacher of the Year. He takes the role following the death of Talia Casares, who was honored as Utah Teacher of the Year in September. The Herald Journal
